Collection: City Clock

Our City Clock design celebrates one of the most iconic buildings of all time, the Palace of Westminster, in London. Better known as the Houses of Parliament, its clock tower is affectionately nicknamed Big Ben. But did you know that Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell inside the tower, first struck on 7^th September 1859? The official name of the tower was originally Clock Tower but it was renamed Elizabeth Tower in 2012 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom.
